PUNK
SEPTEMBER 3 - OCTOBER 22, 2022

PAUL ZIMMERMAN FLYER_edited.png

Metropolitan Museum Of Design Detroit + Collected Detroit presents detroitUNDERGROUND 69 as a platform for educational enrichment and as an experiential opportunity. Each year MM-O-DD's research and curatorial council will select a different music, dance or creative platform which meshes with the Design Industry. The Detroit underground scene has an intense relationship focused on graphic, fashion and product Design and more. For 2022 we will focus on PUNK culture.
We researched and asked the 'originals' aka those who were there back in the 1970's-1990's as we developed the exhibition with their guidance through their watchful eye. We aim to be authentic as we honor those who were their then and now. The Detroit Punk scene is not Dead!

THANK YOU
